Leon's at Lake Ella is a cozy and charming restaurant by the tranquil and historic Lake Ella in Tallahassee, Florida. The historic stone cottage was constructed in the 1920s as part of Tallahassee Motor Motel. Today, Chef Leon, converted one of the cottages into a welcoming restaurant with his culinary masterpiece to serve locals and tourists alike.

🍽️ FOODIE FRIDAY 🍽️ I’ve been looking forward to trying Chef @leoncbrunson food ever since I watched him on Secret Chef, and it did NOT disappoint! 😋 That She-Crab soup was delicious, and the Shrimp & Grit Sandwich was like nothing I’ve ever had before! Oh and that brownie - so rich and decadent 🍫 He’ll be doing pop ups every other weekend in September and every weekend in October at his restaurant, @leonstally, so make sure to check it out! 🙂

We had an early 💌v-day💌 lunch at @leoncbrunson ‘s restaurant @leonstally here in Tallahassee! Holy cow, that food was SO. GOOD. Brian swears that they have the best wings he’s ever had, and they even had yummy vegan crap for me :,))) If you need any convincing to go, watch Leon cook on @hulu ‘s show Secret Chef!! It was a lot more fun than other cooking reality shows tbh. Also, this dress was SEVEN DOLLARS. That’s all.

Oh my goodness, it’s all I can do to keep up with all the new food vendors that keep pouring into @southwoodstreetmarket Town Center Street Market! I’m loving it! I love meeting new people and trying new things!  As always, loving @thefrothersdaughter, my kids and I have to have a crepe from @chocoladatally. So bummed that I ran my mouth for so long that the whip cream melted before I got a picture, but I’m sure y’all know what it looks like when it lands on a plate from all of my other market posts lol. Loved seeing my buddy Chef @leoncbrunson out at the market for the first time, and hope to see him at many more to come! Also pictured @lepointtally, @debhudnallcreations, @sweet_abayomi, @azucarcupcakery.tally, and @saltygirlcocktails! Such a great market for food vendors, highly recommend - every second and fourth Sunday of each month! My bag was so full of goodies from the first couple of stops, so I’ll have many more “new to me” vendors to try next time! Can’t wait!
